Air Quality in urban centers has deteriorated rapidly over the past few years due to massive tree felling, increasing vehicular emissions, industrial smoke and primitive crop burning practices. While the effects were being felt, smog in the last two years has really brought upfront the issue of air pollution.
Organized as part of Air Quality Awareness Week ’19 (Apr 29 – May 3) , the talk focuses on presenting listeners with pertinent data and policy. Whether you are an environmentalist, a citizen concerned about their or future generations’ well-being or just someone who wants to be “educated” on the topic, this event is for you.
